Dave Kirkby, the founder of Top Turf Group and a well-known personality in the South African green industry, has written the above book. He describes it as “a real life story told by myself, in my own language, and built on the strength of the wonderful people I met along the way.”

The foreword to the book has been written by Mel Stamelman, a long-time friend of Kirkby. He states that the book is “a story through which is woven a life’s experience of striving, persistence, searching, achieving and failing.
