SANA AUTUMN TRADE SHOW

After two years of online trade shows due to the Covid lockdown, the South African Nursery Association (SANA) was once again able to host a live, in-person event on 3 March 2022. Previous trade shows were held at their premises in Knoppieslaagte, Midrand, but the site was sold and this years’ show took place at the Khosa Sports Club in Krugersdorp. The vantage point of a raised terrace allowed an almost aerial view of the stands, turning the grounds into a “garden paradise bursting with colour”, according to SANA president Paul Vonk.

There were 77 exhibitors taking up 172 stands, and 680 people attended. A one-way traffic flow concept was very effective, allowing visitors to stay longer and see more of the show. The restaurant, bar facility and shaded outdoor seating area all proved popular and were well used.
